Transformational supervisor synthesis for evolving systems

Abstract Supervisory controller synthesis is a means to compute correct-by-construction controllers for discrete event systems. As these systems and their requirements evolve over time, an updated supervisor needs be computed each time adaptation takes place. We consider the case that has been synthesized given model, after which this model (slightly) adapted. investigate how we can make use of previous result, in order more efficiently adapted model. introduce deltas as describe difference between pairs models. Using deltas, notion atomic adaptations introduced. For adaptations, algorithms are provided transformational manner from rather than performing completely new synthesis. These iterated over, transformationally contain number adaptations. To improve efficiency, it shown grouped together based on required computations processed at same time. A running example used support explanations functioning algorithms. The efficiency method evaluated by both academic industrial case.
